Why do you think it is important for females to be represented in your respective field or in education?

I firmly believe that representation matters. It matters in my field. It matters in education. It matters to our students. It’s important because I represent the possibilities for first generation students, low income students, and minority women.

Who was a female role model for you growing up or currently?

I’m fortunate to know and be surrounded by many female role models. The first was my mom, then my college best friends, and now my colleagues. They have each played a pivotal role in teaching, inspiring, and motivating me to be a better and more confident version of myself.

Do you have a favorite memory from your time at Post?
