Men’s Basketball Ranked First in D2CSC East Region Poll for First Time in Program History

After a perfect 2-0 week witn wins against Felician University and Molloy University, the Eagles are up in all three of the latest polls which were released on January 16.  An unprecedented leap in the D2CSC Top 25 Poll saw the team go an impressive 13 spots up in the rankings to just outside the Top 10 in the nation at 11th.  The jump once again made program history as the highest in the national rankings the Eagles have ever been in that poll and they are now the highest-ranked team in the East Region.  Read more about the historic rankings here.  Congratulations!

Achieve More in the New Year!

“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something.” – Neil Gaiman, Author

In the New Year, as you try new things, learn new things, and maybe even make a mistake or two, we hope you remember that we are here to support you along the way. From all of us at Post University, we wish you a happy New Year!

Safe Cybersecurity Practices

As technology becomes increasingly integrated with our daily lives, we are more likely to experience an attempt to steal our data. But there are simple steps we can take to protect ourselves from cybercriminals.

Follow the tips in this blog to help you remain vigilant, keep you and your data safe, and establish good cyber hygiene practices.

Start the Semester and Term Strong!

  1. Review Each Syllabus and Become Familiar With Your Course Requirements.  The syllabus outlines everything you need to know about your course, include any required materials, the outcomes you will achieve, and the topics you’ll cover.  Read each one so that you are aware of what to expect.
  2. Get Organized.  Using your smartphone calendar or other scheduling system, note the deadlines for your exams, quizzes, projects, and presentations.  Include your professors’ contact information, office hours, and other personal responsibilities you have.
  3. Get To Know Your Professors.  The first few weeks of the semester are a great chance to introduce yourself to your professors.  Ask questions in class or during online discussions and use their office hours.
  4. Take Care of YOU!  It may not always be easy, especially now that classes are picking back up, but do things you enjoy.  Take a walk outdoors.  Eat nutritious foods.  Get enough rest.
  5. Use Your Resources.  Academic support is available through the Center for Academic Success and TutorMe; SOAR and the team in Mental Health and Wellness Services can support your personal well-being; start preparing for your next steps by working with a career advisor in the Center for Career and Professional Development.

2023 was AWESOME, Eagles!  We hope you enjoy our year-in-review video from last year.

We can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store and we’re so glad you’re part of our story.
