“I wanted a college that feels like family, and everyone knew my name.”

Meet Taina Pagan, Class of 2024.

There are people who can light up a room. There are people whom everyone turns to in pivotal moments. There are people who make you realize the world is a wonderful place. Then there are the select few who possess all these qualities, and Taina Pagan – or Tai for short – is one of those people.

Check out Tai’s story, and learn about how she’s making the most of every opportunity she has here.

Weekly Wellness Corner

The Weekly Wellness Corner is brought to you by the Counseling Center – here, you’ll find content, tips, tricks, programs, and resources to help you thrive as a Post Eagle!

Check Out the New Space on the First Floor of North Hall!

Over winter break, the teams from the Counseling Center and Title IX and Disability Services moved from the Leever Student Center into a newly designed space on the first floor of North Hall.  The space, previously occupied by the Center for Academic Success (which moved to the upper level of the Traurig Library at the beginning of the fall semester), offers an exterior entrance and individual offices so that students are comfortable having conversations with the professionals who provide personal and mental health support.  An ADA-accessible entrance is available inside North Hall through the entrance marked Room 116.

Be on the lookout for more information on an official “welcome to the new space” event and feel free to stop in to see it!

Student Government Association’s Mr. Eagle Competition

All students are formally invited to the 2023 Mr. Eagle Competition, sponsored by the Student Government Association.  The Mr. Eagle Competition is being held in honor of the Jordan Porco Foundation to raise awareness for men’s mental health.  The mission of the Jordan Porco Foundation is to prevent suicide, promote mental health, and create a message of hope for young adults.  The contestants that will be participating in this competition are community members and students who represent the true qualities of Mr. Eagle, demonstrating respect, strong leadership skills, commitment to community, and authenticity.  All funds donated will be given directly to the Jordan Porco Foundation.

During the competition, contestants will participate in a suit walk, talent show, and costume walk.  There will be raffle items, silent auction, and a 50/50 drawing.  You will also have the opportunity to buy votes for your favorite competitor to be crowned Mr. Eagle!

Join us at 6:00 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) on Monday, January 23, 2023, in the Drubner Athletic Facility located on Post University’s campus.  Please RSVP by following this link or scanning the QR code.  There is no cost to attend this event, and all students (Main Campus and local online students) are invited to attend and donate.  The event will also be live-streamed for our online students who don’t live locally, along with a link to donate.

We look forward to seeing you for an evening of fun and to bring awareness to a worthy cause!
