What’s the big Idea?

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) is here to help foster and develop an entrepreneurial mindset in our learners, near and far. If you have a big idea, and are not sure where to start, the CEI is here to guide you from writing a business plan, to launching your dream business. You Dream it, and The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation can help you achieve it!

The CEI, under the new management of Silvestro (Sly) Manente, entrepreneur, and Post MBA graduate, is poised and ready to help on-campus and online students alike navigate the tricky waters of business start-up, and business innovation!

The aim for the future of the CEI is to develop a business incubator, where students can find mentorship, motivation, and other services that will aid in hatching new ideas. We believe in our Vision Statement!

“Help students and budding entrepreneurs take the leap towards changing the world.”

Rigorous and relevant exploration, practical learning experiences, and campus-wide collaborations are the foundations of the CEI. With the center’s help, we can pair budding entrepreneurs with mentorship opportunities from our robust roster of entrepreneurs and business leaders. We look forward to special events and experienced entrepreneurial speakers.

Make an appointment with Sly, email at [email protected] or stop by and see him in his cubicle in Traurig Library and Learning Center, lower level with the business school. To start a new business, you must stop, stopping! Let’s take the next step!
